This position is responsible for presenting the very best first impression to patients of Simplicity Health. It includes answering phones from patients, clinics, families and other facilities; making appointments, following up on paperwork, and other administrative tasks. Simplicity Health values personal patient care, easy access, timely response and ongoing support of our patients. This position is the first gateway to that care. This position will work Monday thru Friday, 8a-5p . No nights, no weekends, paid holidays when clinic is closed. II. Accountabilities Provide optimal customer service by welcoming patients, answering patients' questions as needed, and maintaining the reception area. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments at optimal capacity. Answers all inbound calls and triages the needs of the caller. The callers include but are not limited to patients, physicians, labs, and other businesses while maintaining service standards. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by checking patients in timely, and reminding LPN's of service delays. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, insurance and financial information. Process reschedules and cancellations, finding the best alternative for all involved. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Adheres to all company policies, including all HIPAA and Code of Conduct and Compliance measures. Works on projects as requested by Physicians, Office Manager or other as assigned. III.
Job Requirements :
Exceptional customer service skills required Time Management skills required Organizational skills required Shows initiative and works well in a team environment as well as personal responsibility required Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills required Experience with EPIC preferred At least one year of Healthcare experience preferred
