Job Summary:

The One Door Team Lead will conduct housing assessments and be responsible for the supervision of all Resource Navigation and Assessment Specialists of the Coordinated Entry System, including Shelter Diversion and Housing Assessment Specialists. The One Door Team Lead will also be responsible for administrative duties of the One Door program.

Evaluation:

The Senior Director of Homeless Services, following adopted policies of Community Partnership of the Ozarks, evaluates the One Door Team Lead.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or other related field is required; Proven written and oral communication skills; Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet expertise; Ability to meet deadlines; Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts.

Essential Functions:

Supervises One Door team and serves as part of the leadership team of New Day, a purpose-driven day center; Meets with clients to complete screenings and assessments to determine need and program eligibility; Works with clients to establish action plans to increase housing and financial stability; Engages clients in problem-solving dialogue to assess for additional resources a client may be able to access within their network; Connects clients with appropriate partner agencies through referral and follows up to ensure connections were made; Maintains records of funds received and funds spent; ensures all reporting is completed as specified by funding sources; Assures quality services are provided to clients, providers, and the community by One Door; Works to identify problems in service delivery and to identify solutions; Provides time limited case management services to clients of One Door; Answers phone inquiries regarding available resources; Maintains contact with partner agencies to maintain knowledge of resources available within the community; Researches additional resources and initiates partnership with those resource; Strongly adheres to policies and practices outlined by Federal HMIS technical standards; Advocates for clients' needs; Participate in CPO's resource development/fundraising activities; Other duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure:

The One Door Team Lead will report to the Senior Director of Homeless Services.

Position Clarification:

The position of One Door Team Lead is a grant-funded position and is based upon funding availability. The job duties are subject to change, based on the funding requirements. This is an exempt, full-time position. Grant funding dictates the pay range for this position. CPO receives federal grants and contracts and therefore must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
