Job Description

Responsibilities:
Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care Discuss insurance benefits, financial options, and payment plans Collect patient payments and ensure financial arrangements are accurate Coordinate treatment, surgical, and sedation appointments Verify insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and pre-operative documentation Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help patients overcome barriers to care Communicate with referring offices and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care Monitor treatment plans, schedules, and financial records for accuracy Resolve patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion Support practice goals by improving treatment acceptance, collections, and patient satisfaction Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture and assist with office initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience required Previous Treatment Coordinator experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and financial arrangements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities Comfortable discussing finances and helping patients make informed treatment decisions Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service
