The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our denta; office by coordinating patient treatments and providing exceptional customer service. ## Responsibilities
- Utilize dental scheduling software Open Dental to manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Coordinate treatment plans and follow-ups for patients under the direction of dental providers.
- Greet patients, check them in, and verify insurance information at the front desk.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide outstanding patient service.
- Assist with urgent care coordination and ensure timely patient care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to optimize office workflow and patient satisfaction. ## Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting, particularly in treatment coordination. Required
- Proficiency in using dental terminology and understanding dental scheduling processes.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems like Open Dental, Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of phone systems and front desk operations in a healthcare environment is a plus.
