The practice strives to provide a dental experience that is not only friendly and comfortable but also convenient—transforming the way patients perceive dental care. Job Description The Treatment Coordinator reports directly to the Administrative Team Lead. The primary objective of this role is to deliver an exceptional and welcoming patient experience that helps patients and their families feel comfortable, valued, and at ease. By fostering positive relationships and ensuring a smooth, organized process, the Treatment Coordinator sets the foundation for productive and successful appointments. In addition, the Treatment Coordinator serves as a vital liaison between patients and our dental professionals. This includes guiding patients through their treatment options, coordinating and scheduling appointments, and supporting them throughout their journey toward optimal oral health. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care to make a meaningful impact each day. Responsibilities Greet patients in a warm and professional manner, fostering a welcoming environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the dental practice management system Coordinate appointment scheduling to ensure efficient patient care flow and alignment with provider availability. Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; review and reconcile patient accounts Present and explain recommended treatment plans, procedures, and associated fees clearly and compassionately, addressing patient questions and concerns with confidence and professionalism Perform general administrative and front office duties as needed. Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure patient satisfaction and minimize wait times. Go above and beyond to create a memorable experience with friendly and accommodating services. Support recall systems to ensure patients remain on track with hygiene and preventive care Qualifications Professional appearance and demeanor with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, parents, providers, team members, and the community Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and courteous telephone presence Proficiency with dental practice management software and standard office systems Working knowledge of dental insurance billing, financial coordination, and treatment plan presentation Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to patient care Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Minimum 1 year of experience in the dental field is required
