Associate Clinician and Client Coordinator Mountain Laurel Wellness Oxford, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $25 - $45 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Retirement plan Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description Mountain Laurel Wellness is a growing private practice seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Clinician & Client Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an associate-level clinician who is interested in providing high-quality clinical care while also playing a supportive role in helping prospective and current clients connect with the practice. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, organized, and comfortable communicating with clients by phone, email, and text. We are looking for someone who values collaboration, takes initiative, and wants to grow clinically within a supportive private practice environment. Clinical Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on experience, training, and areas of interest. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation. Develop and maintain collaborative, individualized treatment plans with clients. Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches appropriate to each client's needs. Maintain appropriate clinical and ethical standards and comply with all applicable state, federal, and insurance requirements. Participate in clinical supervision and consultation. Collaborate with other clinicians and members of the practice as appropriate. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EHR. Client Coordination Responsibilities Respond to new client inquiries and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for prospective clients. Communicate with prospective clients by phone, email, and/or text to gather basic information about their needs. Conduct brief consultation calls to help prospective clients determine whether Mountain Laurel Wellness may be an appropriate fit. Assist prospective clients in identifying an appropriate clinician based on presenting concerns, availability, insurance, and clinician specialties. Help clients understand the intake process, scheduling process, and what to expect when beginning services. Follow up with prospective clients as appropriate to support successful connection to care. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients throughout the intake and referral process. Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality when communicating with prospective and current clients. Document relevant client coordination activities in accordance with practice procedures. Complete Insurance Verification for prospective clients. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field. Currently licensed or eligible for associate-level/provisional licensure in Connecticut. Strong clinical skills and interest in developing as a clinician. Warm, personable, and professional communication style. Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Comfortable speaking with prospective clients and discussing their treatment needs at a general level. Ability to exercise sound judgment regarding client fit and when to consult with a supervisor or practice leadership. Interest in working collaboratively within a private practice setting.
