Sunny Skies ABA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing clinical team as a BCBA / Clinical Assessor . This position is an excellent opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys providing high-quality clinical care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized treatment recommendations, while looking for a role that offers greater variety and a sustainable workload. The BCBA / Clinical Assessor will provide clinical services to learners and collaborate closely with families and clinical team members while also completing approximately 1-2 comprehensive clinical assessments per week . This role allows the BCBA to utilize their clinical expertise in both direct care and assessment without the ongoing demands of maintaining a traditional, high-volume case management caseload. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing ethical, individualized, and meaningful care. Position Responsibilities:

Clinical Services Provide approximately 15 billable hours per week of direct and indirect clinical services. Develop, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans based on each learner's needs. Provide clinical supervision and ongoing support to RBTs and other members of the treatment team. Review and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and make data-driven treatment decisions. Provide ongoing caregiver collaboration and support. Ensure treatment recommendations are clinically appropriate, individualized, and focused on meaningful outcomes. Collaborate with families, RBTs, schools, and other providers as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, payer, and regulatory requirements. Clinical Assessments Complete approximately 1-2 assessments per week , depending on scheduling and referral volume. Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for new and existing learners. Gather information through caregiver interviews, record reviews, direct observation, and appropriate assessment tools. Analyze assessment results and develop individualized recommendations based on clinical findings. Prepare clear, thorough, and clinically appropriate assessment reports. Develop treatment recommendations and initial treatment plans based on assessment findings. Communicate assessment results and recommendations to families in a clear, compassionate, and understandable manner. Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth transition from assessment to ongoing ABA services.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Current North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential. Previous experience providing ABA services to children with autism and/or developmental disabilities. Experience conducting behavioral or diagnostic assessments preferred. Strong clinical writing and documentation skills. Ability to analyze behavioral data and make appropriate treatment recommendations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable working independently while also being an active member of a collaborative clinical team. Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA services.

Workload:

This position is structured around a balanced clinical workload: Approximately 15 billable hours per week Approximately 1-2 assessments per week Remaining time dedicated to assessment preparation, report writing, clinical documentation, treatment planning, supervision, caregiver collaboration, and other necessary clinical responsibilities.
