Experienced MA will work remotely, but must be able to come to office quarterly for meetings, and train in the Chattanooga, TN for 4-8 weeks. . To conduct exemplary professionalism and compassion when dealing with every patient. To call patients monthly to discuss health concerns and update medical history changes in the EMR on behalf of their doctor following CMS guidelines. Monitor incoming blood pressure readings daily and follow protocols set by the practice. To accurately and professionally document the concerns of each patient you speak with and contact the doctor's office when health concerns need excalated. To work on the patient's behalf to fulfill their healthcare needs: example finding medication coupons, assistance with medication refills, patient education on symptom management, assistance with scheduling doctor's appointments, education on local services available to the patient, etc. To work diligently to monitor and manage their own patient load each month. Communicating with physicians, must have good communication skills. Responsible for scheduling patient appointments. 1 years of experience in a clinical office preferred. 1 year of experience with patient care. Current Medical Assistant Certification. Currently BLS certification. Prior EMR experience preferred, but not required. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
