Job Description

Schedule:
PRN with flexible scheduling Renuven Health Partners is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team as a PRN Care Coordinator. This position offers significant scheduling flexibility, with the option to work traditional daytime hours, evenings, weekends, or a combination based on availability and departmental needs. The role may be performed remotely, on-site, or through a hybrid arrangement. However, candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Johnson City office and be available to attend in-person training and occasional team meetings. Primary Responsibilities Prepare provider notes by reviewing patient records and organizing relevant information within established templates Assist with Chronic Care Management (CCM) note preparation and supporting documentation Review patient charts for completeness and identify missing information needed for note preparation Submit, monitor, and follow up on medication and treatment prior authorizations Update patient lists, tracking tools, and internal reports Assist with care coordination projects, quality initiatives, and documentation-related tasks Communicate with providers, clinical staff, pharmacies, facilities, and other team members as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation while protecting patient confidentiality Provide additional administrative and care coordination support based on departmental needs Qualifications Completion of a Medical Assistant program required CMA certification preferred Previous experience in a medical office, clinical support, care coordination, or similar healthcare setting preferred Experience with electronic medical records and prior authorizations is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage assignments within required deadlines Comfortable learning and working in multiple healthcare systems and electronic platforms Reliable internet access and an appropriate workspace are required for remote work Why Join Our Team?
