Qualified Professional (QP) - 1915(i)
Individual & Transitional Support Better World Care LLC North Carolina Full-Time Pay:
$23.00 Better World Care LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Qualified Professional (QP) to provide oversight for our NC Medicaid 1915(i) Individual & Transitional Support (ITS) program. Responsibilities Supervise Paraprofessional (PP) staff providing ITS services Complete required staff supervision documentation Review service notes and client documentation for accuracy and compliance Monitor implementation of client care plans Provide guidance and coaching to staff Assist with client intake and referral coordination as needed Communicate with Care Managers and other providers when necessary Help ensure services meet Medicaid and payer requirements Participate in chart reviews and quality management activities Report documentation or service concerns to agency administration Additional Incentives Referral bonuses may be available for eligible referrals that result in successfully enrolled clients. Referral outreach is optional and is not a required part of the QP role. Minimum Qualifications Applicant must meet North Carolina's requirements for a Qualified Professional (QP) , including the applicable education, credentialing, and behavioral health experience requirements. Preferred Previous QP experience Experience supervising Paraprofessionals Experience with Medicaid behavioral health services Familiarity with 1915(i), HCBS, Alliance Health, or Tailored Plan services Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work independently Schedule Full-time QP position with a flexible schedule . Hours and workload will vary based on current client and staff caseload. As a growing program, the workload may be lighter initially and will increase as the agency's 1915(i) ITS caseload grows.
