Part-Time Sleep Treatment Coordinator Frisco, TX | $24
- 26/hour, depending on experience We are looking for an experienced, dependable dental assistant/RDA who is interested in a long-term, part-time position with a predictable schedule in a specialized sleep-focused dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys dentistry and patient interaction but does not want a traditional 4-5 day-per-week dental office schedule. Schedule
Sunday:
8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunchMonday:
8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunchTuesday:
8:30am-12:30pm, primarily focused on patient follow-up, referral relationships, and marketing- Approximately 18 hours per week Compensation $22
- 26/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Additional performance incentives may be available as the practice grows. Responsibilities This is a unique hybrid position combining dental assisting, patient care, treatment coordination, and practice growth.
Clinical responsibilities may include:
- Chairside dental assisting
- Taking appropriate dental X-rays
- Digital/3D scanning as trained and permitted
- Patient records and documentation
- Preparing patients for appointments
- Assisting with sleep-related dental procedures
- Appliance-related procedures and attachments as appropriately trained and permitted
- Sterilization and operatory setup
- Helping maintain an organized, efficient office Patient and treatment coordination may include:
- Educating patients about sleep-related dental treatment
- Answering patient questions
- Following up with prospective and existing patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Helping patients move from consultation to treatment
- Communicating professionally with referring offices Tuesday — Practice Growth & Referral Development Tuesday will be dedicated primarily to helping grow the practice.
Responsibilities may include:
- Visiting local medical offices
- Introducing the practice and our sleep services
- Developing relationships with physicians and office managers
- Delivering educational materials
- Following up with referral offices
- Tracking referral sources
- Helping with social media and other marketing activities
- Calling or contacting prospective patients and referral offices
- Identifying opportunities to increase patient referrals You should be comfortable walking into a professional office, introducing yourself, and having a friendly conversation with the staff. The person we're looking for The right person is:
- Experienced in dental assisting
- Dependable and punctual
- Warm, friendly, and excellent with patients
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable speaking with dental and medical professionals
- Outgoing enough to participate in referral development and marketing
- Interested in building a long-term relationship with one practice
- Looking specifically for a consistent part-time schedule
- Willing to learn the specialized aspects of dental sleep medicine An RDA and appropriate radiology credentials are preferred/required for duties where applicable.
