We are seeking a professional, experienced, and hands-on Team Operations Director (TOD) to lead the care staff within our assisted living and memory care community. This is a high-stress, fast-paced leadership role that is essential to maintaining quality care, strong team performance, and day-to-day operational excellence. The Team Operations Director is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of community care staff . This leader plays a critical role in building a strong team by screening candidates for both skills and culture fit , holding team members accountable to community standards, and ensuring staffing coverage across a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week department . Key Responsibilities Recruit, interview, and screen candidates for care staff positions. Evaluate applicants for qualifications, professionalism, and culture fit. Train and onboard new team members Supervise, coach, and hold staff accountable to performance and community standards. Create and manage department work schedules. Fill open shifts promptly as staffing needs arise. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support quality resident care. Personally fill open roles if community staffing hits critical level Support daily operations in a hands-on leadership capacity. Qualifications Prior experience supervising a large 24/7 department. Experience with employee training and staff development Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Proven ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Professional demeanor and strong leadership presence Preferred experience in a healthcare environment Must be comfortable working in a high-stress, hands-on setting.
