We are looking for a professional with 5+ years of dental experience who has a proven track record of strong case acceptance, effective communication, and treatment coordination . The ideal candidate is clinically knowledgeable, confident discussing comprehensive treatment, and skilled at building positive, long-term relationships with patients. This is a high-responsibility patient-facing position for someone who understands that treatment coordination is about much more than presenting an estimate. You should be able to understand the treatment being recommended, educate the patient, answer questions, discuss financial options, overcome reasonable objections, and confidently ask for the appointment. Key Responsibilities Present comprehensive dental treatment plans and educate patients about recommended care. Explain clinical procedures and treatment options in a way patients can easily understand. Build trust and positive relationships with patients. Confidently discuss treatment fees, insurance benefits, patient portions, and financing options. Follow up with patients who have not scheduled treatment and work to increase case acceptance. Demonstrate strong case-closing and appointment-conversion skills . Work closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure treatment plans are accurately presented. Review treatment plans for accuracy and understand the procedures being recommended. Calculate treatment fees and patient portions using basic math skills rather than relying solely on the dental software. Identify discrepancies in treatment plans, insurance estimates, or patient balances. Maintain accurate treatment notes and follow-up records. Handle difficult patient conversations professionally and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Provide a high level of customer service from the initial treatment presentation through scheduling and completion of care. Qualifications 5+ years of dental experience required. Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Dental Financial Coordinator is required. Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment sequencing. Proven ability to present and close dental treatment cases . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Comfortable discussing significant treatment fees and financial arrangements. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Strong basic math skills required. Must be able to manually calculate and verify treatment costs and patient portions when necessary. Must understand that insurance estimates are not guarantees of payment. Positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations or patients.
