Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and highly organized Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator (TC) to join our team. This is a key position in our practice. Our Treatment Coordinators are the warm, knowledgeable connection between the doctor, patient, and family—helping patients understand their orthodontic needs, treatment options, investment, and next steps. POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct initial consultations with patients to discuss treatment options, explain procedures, and answer questions Tracks the patient experience from the initial examination to the start of treatment as directed. Communicates extensively with patients, parents, general dentists, dental specialists, doctors, and staff.PRIMARY DUTIES
Welcome new patients by creating an exceptional patient experience through their examination and diagnosis process. Review patient health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment. Assist in the orthodontist's examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor taking appropriate notes in the patient's chart. Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist. Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment. Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioners. Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics. Educate patients about orthodontic treatment plans, procedures, and financial options. Coordinate and schedule appointments to ensure seamless patient flow. Manage treatment contracts and ensure patients understand their commitments. Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and follow-ups. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to provide outstanding patient experiences. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.EXPERIENCE
Previous orthodontic or dental Treatment Coordinator experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Strong candidates may also come from backgrounds in: Dental or medical offices. Healthcare coordination. Hospitality. Customer service. Sales. Patient care. Financial coordination. Orthodontic experience is a plus—not necessarily a requirement.
