Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and effective communication between patients and dental providers. This position requires strong office management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in dental coding systems. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and facilitating the treatment process. The Treatment Coordinator's main responsibility is to clearly explain treatment options and related costs. The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient and assists in the gathering of information in the patient experience, as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to the patient. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with the clients. The Treatment Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry. They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices who share in the care of patients, making sure referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on. Responsibilities Manage patient intake processes, including collecting necessary documentation and verifying insurance information. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic operations. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems. Assist with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office organization. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and any necessary pre-treatment instructions. Collaborate with dental providers to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients. Address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner to enhance patient satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic is preferred. Strong office management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in clerical tasks and familiar with Patterson eaglesoft dental is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
