Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing equipment, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring a clean environment Assist chiropractors during adjustments and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by documenting patient information, clinical notes, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and treatment details accurately Support administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient follow-up calls, and maintaining organized patient records Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with medical settings such as outpatient clinics or hospital environments is preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) certification is highly desirable Strong patient service skills with a compassionate attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with EHR systems and ICD coding is advantageous Basic understanding of medical procedures related to dermatology, urgent care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical care is a plus Willingness to learn about chiropractic practices and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care Being Bilingual English and Spanish This position is an excellent stepping stone for individuals passionate about healthcare who want to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
