Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Chiropractic Assistant to join our office team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming patient experience while assisting with daily clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, compassionate, someone who has experience with insurance collections/ billing and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Front Desk Duties Greet and check in patients with a positive and professional attitude Assist patients with completing paperwork and updating information Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Escort patients to therapy or treatment areas as needed Therapy Assistance Set patients up on various chiropractic therapies and modalities Monitor patients during therapy sessions Ensure therapy equipment is cleaned and prepared between patients Follow office protocols and provider instructions carefully Scheduling & Communication Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient text messages Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Assist with appointment reminders and patient follow-up communication Provide excellent customer service to all patients and visitors Billing & Insurance Responsibilities Collect patient payments, copays, balances, and outstanding accounts Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions Communicate professionally with insurance companies regarding claims and balances Assist with accounts receivable and insurance collections Maintain accurate patient payment records Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with patients in a healthcare setting Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to handle financial transactions professionally and accurately Basic computer and phone skills required Experience in chiropractic, medical, dental, or healthcare offices preferred but not required Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Preferred Skills Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or scheduling software Knowledge of insurance verification and claims processing Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Work Environment Fast-paced chiropractic and wellness office Team-focused atmosphere Opportunity to build strong patient relationships and help improve patient health outcomes
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
