This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support diagnostic imaging processes, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure seamless patient care within a fast-paced medical environment. The role is ideal for candidates with post-residency experience and a strong foundation in healthcare diagnosis and medical imaging. Responsibilities Assist in coordinating diagnostic radiology procedures, including CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology. Support the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic to document patient information accurately. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics to facilitate diagnostic workflows. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Prepare and review medical records, imaging reports, and discharge plans for accuracy and completeness. Participate in clinical research activities related to diagnostic imaging and patient assessment. Support inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, including triage and patient service functions. Skills Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms. Knowledge of medical imaging modalities including CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiography. Experience with healthcare diagnosis across specialties like cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and family medicine. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with HIPAA standards and medical records management. Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation and patient assessments.
