We are seeking an Chiropractor who values strong clinical reasoning, clear patient education, ethical care, and a team-based approach. Position summary The Chiropractor will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This clinician will provide appropriate chiropractic treatment, rehabilitative exercise, and education while collaborating with physical therapists and other members of the OrthoRehab team. This is an ideal role for a chiropractor who wants to practice in a professional private-office setting, build long-term patient relationships, and focus on quality care rather than high-volume, sales-driven treatment. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient histories, physical examinations, movement assessments, and appropriate clinical evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with spine, extremity, sports-related, work-related, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Provide chiropractic manipulative therapy, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, mobility work, and other treatments within the practitioner's training, scope, and clinical judgment. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment expectations, self-management strategies, ergonomics, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient-centered rehabilitation plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge plans. Identify cases requiring referral, imaging, co-management, or additional medical evaluation. Build professional relationships with patients, referral sources, and the local San Antonio community. Help maintain a clean, welcoming, organized, and professional clinical environment. Qualifications Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic program. Active, unrestricted Texas chiropractic license, or eligibility to obtain licensure before start date. Strong understanding of musculoskeletal assessment, differential diagnosis, and conservative treatment planning. Commitment to evidence-informed, ethical, and patient-centered care. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an interdisciplinary office. New graduates and experienced chiropractors are encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications Experience in sports chiropractic, orthopedics, rehabilitation, manual therapy, or corrective exercise. Comfort managing spine and extremity conditions in an outpatient setting. Training or interest in functional rehabilitation, return-to-sport care, strength and conditioning, or injury prevention. Experience collaborating with physical therapists, physicians, athletic trainers, or other healthcare providers. Spanish-language skills are a plus, but not required.
