POSITION SUMMARY

Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Business Valuation / Compensation Valuation Analyst to join our growing consulting team in Centennial, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is interested in healthcare consulting, financial analysis, valuation, physician compensation, and business advisory services. As an Analyst, you will work within a collaborative, project-based consulting environment and provide analytical and project support to our compensation valuation and business valuation teams. You will work closely with Managers, Directors, Partners, and other consulting professionals throughout the lifecycle of client engagements. Responsibilities will include analyzing client and industry data, developing financial and analytical models, conducting market research, participating in client meetings, and contributing to the preparation of professional valuation reports and advisory deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable working with large amounts of data while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven consulting environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation & Business Valuation Support business valuation, compensation valuation, and other healthcare advisory engagements. Review and analyze client-provided financial, operational, compensation, and market data. Research and analyze healthcare industry and market benchmarks. Develop and maintain analytical and financial models using Excel. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support valuation conclusions and client recommendations. Assist with technical valuation methodologies and analyses. Identify trends, inconsistencies, and key findings within client and industry data. Conduct market, industry, and comparable-company research. Assist with the analysis of physician compensation and productivity data. Support the development of valuation assumptions and supporting analyses. Perform quality-control reviews of calculations, data, and analytical work. Project & Client Support Participate in internal project meetings and client calls. Assist with project planning, organization, and execution. Work collaboratively with project managers, directors, partners, and other team members. Manage assigned project responsibilities and meet established deadlines. Communicate analytical findings and project updates effectively to internal team members. Assist in responding to client questions and requests for additional information. Maintain organized project files and supporting documentation. Report & Deliverable Development Assist in drafting valuation reports, appraisal reports, advisory letters, and other client deliverables. Prepare supporting schedules, exhibits, charts, and analytical summaries. Translate complex analytical findings into clear and understandable written materials. Proofread and quality-check reports and other client-facing materials for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Relevant coursework in financial analysis, valuation, statistics, economics, accounting, or healthcare finance. Professional certifications or progress toward relevant credentials are a plus but are not required.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

0-4 years of professional experience. Experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, accounting, valuation, analytics, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with strong academic backgrounds and demonstrated analytical capabilities who are early in their careers are encouraged to apply.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Analytical & Technical Skills Strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis. Demonstrated ability to work with financial and operational data. Understanding of fundamental finance and accounting concepts. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends and relationships. Familiarity with valuation concepts and methodologies. Understanding of healthcare industry dynamics is highly desirable. Knowledge of physician compensation models, structures, and contracting processes is preferred. Ability to learn complex healthcare, finance, and valuation concepts quickly. Technology Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint. Ability to develop, manipulate, and analyze complex Excel models and datasets.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL

Location:

Centennial, Colorado. This is primarily an in-office position, with flexibility regarding arrival and departure times. Approximately 5-15% travel may be required depending on client and project needs. Work is performed in a professional consulting environment with frequent collaboration across teams. Occasional client meetings and project-related travel may be required.
