Full Job Description Senior EDI Analyst Location:
Deerfield, IL Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours Work Arrangement:
Onsite for initial training (approximately 3-6 weeks), followed by a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Position Overview We are seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join a cross-functional team supporting the development, testing, and deployment of a new revenue management system. This role will lead and support key EDI initiatives, customer onboarding activities, process improvements, and technical solutions. The ideal candidate is independent, technically strong, detail-oriented, collaborative, and service-minded, with experience supporting EDI environments and customer-facing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and/or support the development and implementation of key EDI initiatives. Support the development, testing, and deployment of revenue management system solutions. Lead and support customer onboarding activities and related EDI requirements. Identify and implement process improvements and technical skill development opportunities. Ensure data standards comply with HIPAA, DSCSA, GS1, and applicable industry requirements. Adhere to organizational privacy and security policies. Collaborate with IT business partners, suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders on business initiatives and projects. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex EDI and data exchange issues. Maintain accurate and complete technical documentation. Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange and industry compliance requirements, including DSCSA, HIPAA, and GS1 . Strong knowledge of EDI standards and languages, including ANSI X12, XML/UBL, and HTML . Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools. Strong technical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners. Strong leadership and project management skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong customer service and service-oriented mindset. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. 3-5+ years of recent EDI experience preferred , with the ability to support complex EDI initiatives and customer onboarding. At least 1 year of customer service or customer-facing experience preferred. Experience with healthcare EDI and regulated data environments is preferred. Nice-to-Have Skills UBL/XML knowledge or experience. EDIFACT experience. Experience working with healthcare supply-chain data and related standards. Experience supporting EDI implementations, integrations, or customer onboarding projects. Key Attributes Independent and responsible, particularly when working remotely. Strong technical aptitude. Do you have at least 1 year of customer-facing or customer service experience? Do you have experience with healthcare data exchange and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, DSCSA, or GS1? Are you willing to work onsite in Deerfield, IL 5 days per week during the initial 3-6 weeks of training, followed by a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote?
