We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a dynamic healthcare-focused team in Columbia, MD. This role is ideal for professionals with strong provider data experience, advanced SQL expertise, and hands-on exposure to healthcare platforms such as Facets and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will partner closely with leadership, business teams, and engineering groups to ensure provider data accuracy, optimize reporting processes, and support critical business decisions through data-driven insights. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing ETL solutions, creating dashboards and reports, and improving overall data quality and accessibility across enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot provider and claims-related data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Work closely with leadership teams to resolve provider data issues and improve provider data interactions with claims platforms.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for business users and stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes and complex SQL stored procedures.
- Perform advanced SQL querying for data extraction, validation, and analysis in support of Software Engineering and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, BI Developers, Architects, and business users to design and enhance data models and integration solutions.
- Support the implementation and configuration of enterprise Data Integration Frameworks.
- Assist in data transformation, manipulation, and presentation for operational and strategic reporting.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and quality of data loading and movement processes.
- Communicate findings, risks, and data impacts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong healthcare industry experience with Provider Data Management.
- Hands-on experience working with provider data issues, provider data accuracy, and claims platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Facets and Salesforce.
- Advanced SQL experience including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and data validation.
- Experience with ETL development and data integration processes.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design.
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics for leadership teams.
- Ability to work effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
