Our team is made up of physicians, nurses, and pediatric care leaders. Many still see patients, teach residents, contribute to research, or hold leadership roles at children's hospitals. The Role We're hiring a Pediatric CDI Specialist to review pediatric medical records for documentation gaps related to acuity, illness severity, mortality risk, and overall complexity of care. You'll work concurrently and retrospectively, partnering with physicians, APPs, coders, and hospital leadership to improve documentation quality — and act as an educator, helping clinical teams understand why accurate documentation matters for patient care and compliant reimbursement. What You Bring Required:
3+ years of CDI experience, with at least 1 year in pediatric populations Strong understanding of pediatric physiology, disease progression, and clinical documentation indicators Experience identifying documentation and query opportunities in pediatric charts Familiarity with
