Index Analytics is seeking a Business Analyst/Tester to perform as an analyst and test engineer in support of Government clients for a remote position. The BA/Tester will be responsible for application requirements, utilizing user experience, user story/acceptance criteria methodology in an agile environment. Responsibilities Act as both a business analyst and test engineer as needed on Index Analytics customer projects and programs. Analyze business and operating requirements to identify acceptance criteria. Establish and execute test plans and test cases for customer programs based on user story-acceptance criteria methodology in support of user acceptance testing. Perform functional testing to ensure that outputs and calculations accurately reflect requirements. Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not disrupt existing functionality. Perform user acceptance testing to ensure that updates satisfy all business requirements and that end users can effectively interact with web-based systems. Develop traceability matrices to connect business requirements to implemented features and ensure test case coverage. Compile test findings reports for key stakeholders. Engage in continual process improvement. Contribute to SOPs, user guides, and training materials as needed. Interact with internal and external customers. Analyze, evaluate, and implement processes to best support customer programs. Perform technical writing and editing for a range of written deliverables and products.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: US citizen or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust background investigation. Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant discipline required. Minimum of 4 years professional experience with at least 2 years of work experience in business analysis and/or testing experience. Prior experience with Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Adaptability and flexibility to changing environment. Comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Self-driven. Willingness to lead, take charge, offer opinions and direction. Escalates appropriately in a timely manner. Ability to work in a team and participate in formal reviews of deliverable products. Excellent organizational skills.
