Position Scope:
Responsible for ensuring the content of clinical notes pertaining to patient care, treatment and services is in compliance with all licensing, DMAS and Joint Commission regulations. Maintain Tracking Board, review notes for compliance, send out audit findings, conduct follow up, correction verification. Maintain Tracking Board, analyze data by creating pivot tables from EHR exports, send out audit findings, conduct follow up, correction verification. Audit of key initial assessments and reports, documenting findings on VA Medicaid Audit Tool, communicating findings and maintaining tool. Target audits based on the identified need. Summarize findings and supply data for weekly and monthly QAPI reports. Resource Liaison during site visits/surveys. Collect weekly billing reports from clinical staff, follow up on late reports, maintain Tracking Board. Export billing reports and audit clinical notes, request and follow up on corrections. Submit billing reports to Business Office weekly. Weekly ISP audit - update ISP Tracking Board and send out notifications. Medication Management Note insert support as needed, working with medical staff onclarifications. Follow up with staff from other departments on ISP deficiencies identified during final reviews.Qualifications:
