Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Masters Level Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping skills, and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, incorporating evidence-based practices and client goals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient care coordination, and medical records review to optimize treatment outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development through research activities, clinical supervision, and staying current with best practices in mental health care. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Strong knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention protocols, and behavior management strategies for diverse populations. Expertise working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), co-occurring disorders, and PTSD care. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards. Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for clinical counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, intake assessments, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to manage complex cases involving trauma-informed care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and chronic pain counseling in outpatient or inpatient settings.
