$36/hr to $45/hr on W2 (Without Benefits) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Aeromedical Case Manager to support medical case management operations at our Air Force Base. This position is responsible for processing medical cases, maintaining medical documentation, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with military medical standards. Candidates with military healthcare, occupational health, disability evaluation, or aeromedical experience are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Review and process medical case files for completeness and accuracy. Maintain and update case information in electronic medical management systems. Coordinate medical appointments and case activities with military treatment facilities and healthcare providers. Prepare professional correspondence regarding incomplete or pending medical documentation. Respond to phone and email inquiries from military units and personnel. Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and administrative documentation. Maintain a high level of accuracy in medical case processing and data entry. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and applicable government regulations. Required Qualifications Experience in medical case management, aeromedical services, occupational health, military healthcare, or disability evaluation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD-10 coding. Experience reviewing medical records and determining documentation completeness. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF software. Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with military or comparable healthcare information systems is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Department of Defense or military healthcare programs. Familiarity with AIMWTS, MEDXS, PEPP, PHA, JLV, MICT, or similar electronic medical systems. Knowledge of military medical standards, Line of Duty (LOD) determinations, or aeromedical waiver processes. Additional Requirements Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 (NACI) background investigation within 30 days of employment. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations. Must comply with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and required government training.
