Position Overview Skyterra Young Adult is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Primary Therapist (Licensed) to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to young adults, supporting their emotional and psychological well-being through therapy, assessment, and case management. On-campus presence (Monday - Thursday, 8 hrs/day) Part-time & prn available Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Case Management Provide individual and family therapy (at least two hours per week per client) Facilitate up to three group therapy sessions weekly Serve as the primary point of contact for families and referral sources Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans with clear, achievable goals Lead mindfulness and therapeutic activities, such as meditation and nature walks Collaborate with staff on program development and training to enhance clinical offerings Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation Participate in and facilitate weekly clinical team meetings. Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Child & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience working with young adults facing neurodivergence, ADHD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and executive functioning challenges is preferred. Experience with case management and group therapy is strongly preferred. Licensure & Certifications Active and good-standing license to provide mental healthcare in North Carolina (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent). Maintain CEUs, ethical standards, and malpractice insurance. Valid driver's license with a clean record.
