Position Summary The Clinical Oversight Contractor provides licensed clinical oversight and therapeutic services for the CrossRoads Families Program for up to 12 hours per week. The contractor supports high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based care while working within the CrossRoads Therapeutic Community (TC) and Community as Method (CAM) models. The contractor partners closely with the CrossRoads Families Community Coordinator, Washoe County Human Services Agency (HSA) clinician, and other appropriate program partners to ensure clinical recommendations are effectively coordinated with participant support, community programming, and family stabilization efforts. This position is limited to clinical oversight, therapeutic services, clinical consultation, and related documentation and does not provide day-to-day program management or direct supervision of CrossRoads Families staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Therapeutic Services Provide weekly individual therapy to CrossRoads Families participants based on identified clinical needs. Facilitate recurring therapeutic groups for program residents. Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support recovery, emotional regulation, family stability, and participant wellbeing. Maintain appropriate clinical records and documentation related to services provided. Clinical Oversight & Consultation Provide clinical guidance and case consultation regarding complex participant needs, behavioral health concerns, family dynamics, and treatment considerations. Review treatment planning, clinical recommendations, and participant documentation as needed. Support integration of trauma-informed, evidence-based practices throughout participant care. Provide recommendations that strengthen program quality, participant engagement, and clinical outcomes. Participate in case conferencing or multidisciplinary consultation when clinically appropriate. Clinical & Program Collaboration Collaborate with HSA clinician as needed regarding complex cases, emergency situations, clinical concerns, and continuity of care. Partner directly with the Community Coordinator to ensure clinical recommendations are appropriately integrated into participant support and daily program practices. Coordinate with other treatment providers, case managers, and service partners when appropriate and authorized. Maintain clear communication between clinical and program teams while preserving appropriate professional and clinical boundaries. Support consistency between therapeutic interventions and the CrossRoads TC and CAM models. Crisis & Complex Case Consultation Provide clinical consultation regarding behavioral health emergencies, significant behavioral concerns, relapse, family crises, or other complex participant situations. Collaborate with the HSA clinician and CrossRoads Families leadership regarding appropriate clinical responses and referrals. Assist with determining when participants require a higher level of behavioral health or clinical care. Provide follow-up clinical recommendations following significant incidents when appropriate. Quality & Clinical Fidelity Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally responsive, family-centered, and evidence-based clinical practices. Support clinical fidelity to the CrossRoads model and established treatment approaches. Participate in review and improvement of clinical practices when gaps or emerging needs are identified. Cooperate with periodic fidelity audits conducted by HSA CrossRoads leadership and clinical personnel. Participate in monthly clinical oversight meetings with the RISE Community Director and HSA CrossRoads leadership to review clinical services, emerging needs, program fidelity, and participant care. Contract Oversight & Accountability Contractor performance and scope of work will be overseen by the RISE Development Director and Community Director. Clinical work will be periodically reviewed by HSA CrossRoads, including the HSA clinician, to assess fidelity to the CrossRoads model. The contractor will participate in ongoing coordination and monthly clinical oversight meetings as required. The contractor is responsible for maintaining all professional licenses, ethical standards, clinical documentation, and other requirements applicable to services provided under the contract. Minimum Qualifications Current Nevada license in good standing as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCDAC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Experience providing behavioral health, substance use treatment, trauma-informed, family-centered, or recovery-oriented clinical services. Experience working with individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders, trauma, behavioral health challenges, homelessness, or child welfare involvement. Ability to provide individual and group therapeutic services within a supportive living or community-based environment. Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary consultation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Therapeutic Community (TC) and Community as Method (CAM) models. Experience providing clinical services within recovery housing or supportive housing environments. Knowledge of family systems, parenting, reunification, substance use recovery, and trauma-informed care. Experience collaborating with government human services agencies, child welfare systems, and multidisciplinary treatment teams. Knowledge of evidence-based approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-focused interventions, and recovery-oriented systems of care. Compensation $65 an hour for 12 hours a week
