Overview:

n My Heart Psychology & Counseling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals and families in our community. We foster a supportive, collaborative environment where clinicians are empowered to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilites:

Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform diagnosis and treatm'ent planning Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure immediate safety and stability for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies Facilitate intake evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations Provide specialized counseling for child & youth therapy, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling Maintain detailed clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy in medical records and compliance with HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, coordinate care for individuals with co-occurring disorders, and participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment outcomes

Client Populations:

Clinicians may have the opportunity to work with: Children Teens Adults Couples Families Experience with every population is not required.

Schedule:

We are hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

Availability may include:

Morning appointments Afternoon appointments Evening appointments Weekend appointments Availability for all time slots is not required. We offer scheduling flexibility based on clinician availability.

Qualifications:

Active Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) license Current supervisor established and in good standing Professional liability (malpractice) insurance Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
