The ability to perform client-centered services while relaying necessary information based upon each client's psycho-social needs are a vital part of all positions within the company. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide mental health evaluations/assessments, problem identification, crisis interventions, individual, group, and/or family therapy to assigned clients. Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress and follow-up when needed. Assist the Mental Health Care Coordinator/Case Manager in coordinating the client's use of other programs and outside community resources if not available at NMH. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with COMAR regulations. Complies with data collection entry, and reporting requirements. Provides clinical educational and/or liaison services to community centers/resources as needed. Must make timely as well as situation appropriate referrals. Maintain a high percentage of time in billable clinical activity as well as administrative responsibilities. Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams. Maintain strict confidentiality according to federal and state guidelines and requirements. Uphold the Professional Code of Ethics on one's profession/licensure at all times. Responsible for one's personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession, as well as maintain active, current and unrestricted licensure and/or certification during all periods of employment at NMH. Ensure that proper clinical treatment/documentation is performed as scheduled. Actively participate in any/all required initial as well as on-going onboarding, training, and orientation of respective department assigned to per agency needs and/or assigned by NMH management staff throughout course of employment. Participate in regularly scheduled case consults with multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate client care as well as consistent communication between all disciplines. Follow all clinical and administrative policies, as well as new and on-going operating procedures/training guidelines for respective department for all clinical staff. Ensure clinical documentation is entered into EHR in a timely manner by following the implementation of regular deadlines as provided to clinician by direct supervisor, and communicating with management immediately regarding any potential areas of concern that could hinder one's work flow/progress. Ensure that COMAR regulations are adhered to, and that policies and procedures are aligned with CARF accreditation needs for respective department in the clinic in which clinician is assigned to at all times. Follow all HIPPA laws for staff as well as clients and ensure that laws are adhered to during all client contact/documentation with clients. Work collaboratively and respectively with the management team and all NMH staff at all times. Maintain a caseload per agency needs/work status (full-time vs part-time).

Licensure/Certification & Education Requirements:

Must hold a current license in one's respective discipline in the state of Maryland, (LGPC, LCPC, LGSW, LICSW, LCSW-C) with no pending violations and/or convictions.1 year of mental health experience preferred, however will consider applicants with active/newly received licensure status. Applicants with advanced education/training and/or experience in the field will be able to negotiate a higher rate of pay. Able to utilize

diagnostic assessments appropriately. Ability to engage with children & adults/families in a respectful/professional manner at all times. Able to relate to diverse groups of people.
