Warrenton and Fairfax, Virginia | In-Person, Telehealth, or Hybrid In Luck Counseling, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable Virginia Resident in Counseling to join our trauma-informed group practice as a 1099 independent contractor. This opportunity may be an excellent fit for a developing clinician who wants thoughtful, intensive supervision and is interested in deepening their ability to work with trauma, dissociation, attachment concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, relational difficulties, and life transitions.

POPULATIONS SERVED

We are seeking a clinician who is comfortable—or genuinely interested in developing competence—in working with: Adolescents ages 12 and older Adults across the lifespan Older adults Clients with trauma histories Clients experiencing dissociative symptoms or disorders

LOCATIONS AND SCHEDULE

Our primary need is for a clinician who can provide services in Warrenton. In Luck Counseling also has an office in Fairfax, which may offer greater flexibility for a clinician who lives between Warrenton and Fairfax or would benefit from dividing their in-person availability between the two locations. Services may be provided in person in Warrenton and/or Fairfax, through telehealth with clients located in Virginia, or in a hybrid format. Some after-school availability is strongly preferred due to the need for adolescent services.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Board-approved individual supervision is available with Natalia Lueck, LPC, at a rate of $100 per supervision session. Natalia provides intensive, individualized clinical supervision that may include: Careful review of selected session transcripts or other clinical material Detailed feedback on clinical skills and therapeutic presence Case conceptualization and treatment planning Assessment and treatment of trauma and dissociative symptoms and disorders Recognition of dissociation and attention to pacing, stabilization, and client safety Documentation and medical-necessity support Ethical decision-making and professional boundaries Development of the therapeutic relationship Culturally responsive and affirming clinical care Natalia's clinical perspective is informed by EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based, nervous-system-informed, and somatic approaches. This supervision does not constitute formal EMDR or IFS training, certification, approved consultation, or consultation hours toward certification. Residents may use EMDR, IFS, or other specialized treatment modalities only within the boundaries of their own education, formal training, supervision, and demonstrated competence.

% of collected clinical revenue Referrals and support with caseload development Insurance billing and collections support Electronic health record access Marketing and administrative infrastructure Furnished office space in Warrenton and Fairfax Opportunities for clinical consultation and professional development This is a 1099 independent-contractor position without employee benefits. Clinical supervision is not included in the compensation split and is billed separately at $100 per supervision session.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must: Hold a qualifying master's degree in counseling Hold an active Virginia Resident in Counseling license or be eligible to obtain the license before beginning clinical work Maintain individual professional-liability insurance Value ethical, culturally responsive, affirming, and trauma-informed care Be emotionally grounded, curious, reflective, and receptive to detailed feedback Demonstrate dependable communication and timely, clinically appropriate documentation Work independently while collaborating appropriately with supervisors and practice colleagues Practice only within the boundaries of their education, training, supervision, and demonstrated competence Be interested in developing longer-term competency in trauma and dissociation treatment
