Skypoint Recovery of Virginia is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Clinical Aide to support the clinical team in providing high-quality behavioral health and substance use disorder services to clients participating in our treatment programs. The Clinical Aide works closely with counselors, therapists, case managers, medical staff, and other members of the treatment team to support clients throughout the treatment process. This position assists with client engagement, documentation, group activities, coordination of services, and day-to-day clinical operations. The Clinical Aide does not independently provide psychotherapy, clinical assessments, diagnoses, or other services requiring professional clinical licensure. All duties are performed within the employee's training, qualifications, and assigned scope of responsibility. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist the clinical team with the daily coordination and delivery of client services. Provide support to clients participating in 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and 2.5 Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services. Assist with client orientation and help newly admitted clients understand program schedules, expectations, rules, and available services. Support clinicians with preparation for individual sessions, group sessions, treatment activities, and educational programming. Assist with organizing and facilitating approved psychoeducational, recovery-focused, recreational, or skills-building activities under appropriate supervision. Monitor client attendance and participation in scheduled clinical programming. Assist with maintaining accurate attendance records, group rosters, and other required program documentation. Encourage clients to remain engaged in treatment and communicate concerns regarding client participation, behavior, or changes in functioning to appropriate clinical staff. Provide appropriate emotional support and encouragement while maintaining professional boundaries. Observe client behavior and promptly report significant behavioral, emotional, medical, or safety concerns to the appropriate clinical or supervisory staff. Assist clients with navigating scheduled appointments, treatment activities, case management services, and other program-related needs. Support coordination between clinical, medical, administrative, and residential staff when appropriate. Assist with obtaining signatures and completing non-clinical portions of treatment-related paperwork as assigned. Maintain organized clinical materials, forms, group supplies, and other resources needed for daily programming. Assist with client discharge preparation and coordination of assigned non-clinical discharge tasks. Participate in staff meetings, treatment team meetings, supervision, and required training as assigned. Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, coworkers, referral sources, and other stakeholders. Follow all Skypoint Recovery policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, HIPAA, client rights, professional boundaries, incident reporting, and workplace conduct. Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, safety concerns, emergencies, or other reportable incidents according to organizational policy and applicable requirements. Complete required documentation accurately and within established timeframes. Perform other duties related to client care and clinical program operations as assigned. Client Support Responsibilities The Clinical Aide serves as an additional source of support for clients while reinforcing the goals established by the clinical treatment team.

Clinical Aides must recognize the limits of their role and refer clinical questions, treatment decisions, crisis assessments, and other matters requiring professional judgment to qualified clinical personnel.
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED. Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health concerns, or other behavioral health needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Ability to document information clearly and accurately. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Physical Requirements The position may require the employee to: Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Move throughout the treatment facility to support programming and client needs. Use computers and other standard office equipment. Respond appropriately to emergency situations within the employee's training. Perform other physical activities reasonably necessary to fulfill assigned job responsibilities.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
