Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Medical Records Clerk to manage patient health information. You will organize, maintain, and secure electronic and physical medical charts. This role requires clinical environment experience and strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Records:
Organize, log, and update patient medical charts accurately.
Process Requests:
Retrieve and release medical records following privacy laws.
Data Entry:
Input clinical data into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Patient Support:
Assist diverse patient populations in English and Spanish.
Quality Control:
Audit files to ensure completeness and compliance.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Language:
Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
Experience:
Prior work history in a medical or clinical setting.
Availability:
Full schedule flexibility from Monday through Saturday.
Preferred Skills Compliance:
Strong understanding of HIPAA and medical privacy laws.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with EHR software and basic database management.
Organization:
Exceptional attention to detail and file management skills.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
