Job Description

Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst for a large healthcare organization undergoing an enterprise Epic implementation. This consultant will serve as a senior Willow Inpatient resource, helping drive implementation progress through application build, optimization, testing, and go-live preparation efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong Willow Inpatient experience, a deep understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations, and the ability to quickly step into an SME role. Responsibilities include Willow Inpatient configuration, workflow design, pharmacy billing build, MediSpan maintenance, testing, issue resolution, and implementation support. Experience with BD Alaris infusion pump integration is highly desired. This individual will collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership, pharmacists, analysts, and cross-functional Epic teams while providing guidance and support to team members throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Serve as a senior Willow Inpatient SME supporting a large-scale Epic implementation
  • Assist the pharmacy team with outstanding build, configuration, and optimization efforts across multiple implementation waves
  • Configure, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize Willow Inpatient workflows
  • Support pharmacy billing build, charge workflows, and MediSpan maintenance
  • Collaborate on BD Alaris infusion pump integration, testing, and issue resolution
  • Participate in workflow analysis, integrated testing, go-live readiness, and deployment activities

  • 5+ years of Epic Willow Inpatient experience
  • Strong build and configuration experience
  • Previous Epic implementation and/or large-scale optimization experience
  • Experience with workflow analysis, design, testing, and go-live support
  • Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations
  • Pharmacy billing build experience
  • BD Alaris Infusion Pump Integration experience
  • MediSpan drug database maintenance and update experience
  • Ability to work independently and serve as a Willow SME
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • PharmD or pharmacist background
  • End-to-end Epic implementation experience
  • Willow Inventory experience
  • Willow Ambulatory experience
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or supporting less experienced application teams
  • Large healthcare system implementation experience
