Stella Maris is hiring a Hospice Operations Coordaintor to support the Hospice and Home Hospice department with scheduling all aide visits for Home Care, Home Hospice, and Personal Care Services. Processes billing, and payroll. Responsibilities:
Schedules all Aide visits and communicates schedule to staff and clients. Communicates changes in schedule to clients and staff. Schedules employees to meet the service needs of the clients. Maintains the itineraries/schedules and notes on each client. Reviews itineraries and schedules with employees to ensure accuracy. Participates in orientation of new staff Performs clerical duties that include but are not limited to answering telephones, ordering supplies, faxing, copying, and filing. Maintains a neat and organized work environment. Maintains all files to ensure adequate supply of forms are available. Maintains bulletin boards for timely and accurate information. Completes death certificates for signature by MD/CRNP. Tracks all CTI's for the initial timely completion for signature and tracks all recertification periods for timely signature. Completes an accurate Team List and sign-in sheet for weekly Team Meetings. Disassembles all discharged medical records and places in closed chart order. Files all closed medical records in alphabetical order. Tracks and boxes closed medical records on a monthly basis and maintains an accurate closed patient list. Identifies destroy date on each box. Retrieves closed medical records as needed. Forwards all requests for medical records to appropriate agency for approval. Medical records not released until approval received. Enters physician orders and requested information into the system in order to update patient records. Flags medical records for signature by the MD/CRNP and ensures signatures are timely and complete. Processes and coordinates orders for signature and ensures compliance. Enters repair orders and follows up to ensure completion. Uploads all pertinent documents to the electronic medical record. Coordinates and processes monthly bereavement mailings. Completes intake for bereavement clients.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum three (3) years of experience Associate's Degree preferred
