Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless coordination of care and efficient management of medical services. Responsibilities Manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals using electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software Serve as a primary contact for patient inquiries via phone and email, providing clear information and empathetic support Assist with medical administrative tasks such as data entry, document processing, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with health regulation policies Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and external agencies to facilitate timely approvals and coverage Ensure the confidentiality of patient information by adhering to privacy laws and organizational policies Support patients in understanding their treatment plans, medication instructions, and billing procedures Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, health insurance processes, and relevant regulations to provide accurate assistance Requirements Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for managing patient data efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client correspondence Understanding of health insurance policies, billing procedures, and regulatory compliance standards Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining strict confidentiality Proficiency in typing quickly and accurately to support administrative tasks Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting patients through compassionate coordination and efficient administrative support. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
