provides all required equipment Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Clinical Application Analyst IV (RN) to serve as the clinical and operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a UKG Advanced Scheduling implementation supporting Project OneLink. The ideal candidate will have a strong Registered Nurse (RN) clinical background , hands-on experience with UKG Advanced Scheduling , and a solid understanding of healthcare workforce scheduling and clinical operational workflows. This role will represent nursing, ambulatory, ancillary, and patient-care operations throughout workflow design, validation, testing, optimization, and implementation readiness . The consultant will work closely with clinical stakeholders, project teams, and technology teams to ensure scheduling solutions support operational needs and patient-care requirements. Key Responsibilities Serve as the clinical and operational SME for UKG Advanced Scheduling. Represent clinical operations, including nursing, ambulatory, ancillary, and patient-care workflows . Facilitate workflow validation sessions with clinical and operational stakeholders. Evaluate scheduling scenarios, workflows, business rules, and system decisions. Translate clinical and operational requirements into clear project and application requirements. Assess the potential operational and patient-care impact of scheduling and system decisions. Participate in application configuration validation, testing, implementation, and optimization activities. Develop and maintain test scripts, workflow documentation, decision logs, issue/defect logs, and other project documentation . Identify workflow risks, gaps, dependencies, and adoption barriers. Collaborate with application, technical, clinical, and project management teams to resolve issues. Support stakeholder communication, organizational change, training, and technology adoption. Participate in approximately 25 hours per week of structured validation meetings , with remaining time supporting related UKG and Project OneLink activities. Support additional workforce-management areas including timekeeping, attendance, absence management, reporting, compliance, and training readiness . Provide analytical problem-solving and recommendations based on clinical and operational requirements. Support implementation readiness and ensure workflows are appropriately validated before deployment. Required Qualifications Active or relevant Registered Nurse (RN) clinical background . Hands-on experience with UKG Advanced Scheduling in a production or implementation environment. Experience with clinical or healthcare workforce scheduling . Experience working with ambulatory, ancillary, nursing, or other clinical operational workflows . Experience with application validation, workflow design, testing, implementation, or optimization. Ability to evaluate scheduling and system decisions from both operational and patient-care perspectives . Strong facilitation, communication, documentation, and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week during Pacific Time business hours . Ability to travel up to approximately 25% , with occasional periods potentially reaching 50%. Preferred Qualifications Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management or UKG Dimensions . Background in clinical informatics or nursing informatics . Experience with staffing requirements, labor rules, union considerations, or healthcare compliance. Experience facilitating workflow validation sessions. Experience creating and maintaining test scripts, decision logs, workflow documentation, and defect logs . Experience supporting organizational change management, training, and technology adoption. UKG, clinical informatics, or nursing informatics certification . Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced RN and healthcare technology professional who understands both clinical operations and workforce scheduling technology.
