Job Description
Job Overview Valley Family Health is a small, Primary Care Practice, in Fishersville VA, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Staff member to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be part of a team with the NP owner that work to provide care and support to patients. This position is an "as needed" role with lots of flexibilty allowed. Clinical staff self-schedule chosing their own days and times they are available. The office is open Tuesday-Friday, with only one day in office seeing patients and the other days may be in office or virtual and focused on the behind the scenes patient care tasks along with returning patient calls and messages. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing electronic health records (EHR) accurately within EMR/EHR systems. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is necessary for accurate documentation. Strong communication skills combined with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively are crucial for success in this role.
