EMR Specialist I P3 Health Partners - 2.9 Henderson, NV Job Details $70,000 - $80,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Patient management software IT experience within healthcare Full Job Description Job Purpose The EMR Analyst I supports the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. This role focuses on day‑to‑day system configuration, troubleshooting, user support, and data integrity. The EMR Analyst I works closely with clinic management to ensure the EMR functions effectively and aligns with operational workflows as well as supporting the clinicals training team. This role collaborates closely with business units, affiliates, vendors, and the Information Services (IS) team to ensure applications are properly configured, optimized for performance, Essential Functions and Responsibilities System Support & Troubleshooting — Provide first‑level support for EMR issues, including user access, workflow errors, and system functionality concerns. Escalate complex issues as needed. Configuration & Maintenance — Assist in configuring templates, forms, user roles, and system settings under the guidance of senior analysts. User Training & Documentation — Support end‑users by creating training materials, conducting basic training sessions, and documenting processes or system updates. Data Quality & Integrity — Monitor data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and collaborate with teams to correct errors. Workflow Optimization — Participate in workflow assessments and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience. Testing & Upgrades — Assist with system testing, validation, and go‑live support during upgrades, patches, or new feature rollouts. Compliance & Security — Ensure EMR usage aligns with HIPAA, organizational policies, and security standards. Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work with clinical, IT, and administrative teams to support EMR-related initiatives and projects. Bridge clinical needs and software functionality Administration and configuration changes on athenaNet, both Revenue Cycle (Collector) and Electronic Health Record (Clinicals) Support and maintain auxiliary clinical applications integrated with athenaNet, i.e. telehealth, home health devices etc. Works with the Information Security officer (ISO) and team to address security Provides P3 application documentation, metrics, analytics, and reporting Maintains confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, and accessed by the systems. Education and Experience Required Bachelor's or advanced degree in healthcare, computer science, or business, or equivalent work experience 1+ years Basic understanding of EMR systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 3+ years of IS related support experience Desired Experience with athenaNet Administration Experience clinical workflow Experience with SaaS/Cloud based applications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of healthcare applications support Knowledge of electronic medical records Knowledge of Information Services support concepts and best practice Strong Knowledge of core Microsoft business applications, word, excel, outlook, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to provide product documentation and training Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and participate in their resolution with highest customer satisfaction Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the group growth and expansion Work independently as well as in a group setting Ability to multi-task Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, procedures, and practices Work Location & Schedule This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates will follow our hybrid schedule, working in office three days per week.
