$45-$65 per hour Valen Solutions is seeking an Epic-certified Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer to lead training for a State of North Carolina client. Candidates must be based in North Carolina. Schedule, travel expectations, and engagement duration will be confirmed with selected candidates. What you'll do Develop curriculum for Epic clinical documentation workflows, templates, and SmartTools. Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and at-the-elbow training. Create manuals, eLearning content, quick-reference guides, and simulations. Align training with Epic updates, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. Partner with Epic analysts and clinical informatics teams to translate system build into effective training. Support go-live readiness and command-center operations. Use learner feedback and performance measures to improve training. Maintain training governance, documentation standards, and version control. Required qualifications Current Epic Principal Trainer certification in Clinical Documentation. At least 5 years of experience as an Epic Clinical Documentation Principal Trainer. At least 3 years of clinical documentation improvement experience. Ability to independently own training development and delivery. Based in North Carolina and able to meet any client travel requirements. Preferred qualifications Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS documentation requirements. Experience with large Epic implementations or upgrades. At least 3 years developing or maintaining Epic training environments. Compensation $45-$65 per hour, depending on experience, certification, and engagement requirements.
