Updates record deficiency information and maintains microfilm area.

Work Experience:

One year of experience in Health Information Management or healthcare-related work experience to include Hospital/clinic/physicians' medical billing/insurance office. An associate's degree in Health Information Management (HIM), Medical Billing and Coding or a related field can be substituted for work experience.

License/Registration/Certification:

None Education and Training:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of Health Information Systems practices, procedures and guidelines. Must be detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish. Knowledgeable of medical terminology. Knowledgeable of or ability to learn maintenance of Hospital medical records. Knowledgeable of or ability to learn multiple computer systems of Hospital medical records.
