Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a Senior Epic ASAP Analyst to join a high-performing Clinical Solutions team supporting Epic ASAP and Grand Central. This is an individual contributor role focused on designing, building, optimizing, and supporting Emergency Department workflows within a large healthcare environment. The team is actively engaged in ongoing upgrades, operational enhancements, and innovative initiatives involving AI-enabled clinical documentation and patient engagement solutions. This position is ideal for an experienced Epic ASAP professional who enjoys collaborating with operational leaders, improving clinical workflows, and supporting mission-critical emergency department operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, configure, and optimize Epic ASAP functionality to support Emergency Department operations
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and implement solutions Support quarterly Epic upgrade testing and validation activities
- Build and maintain Epic workflows, navigators, narrators, SmartForms, and documentation tools
- Configure and support orders, results, provider documentation, patient instructions, and After Visit Summaries (AVS)
- Manage track board configuration, charge workflows, reporting needs, and ED operational metrics
- Support In Basket messaging and communication workflows
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support rotation
- Assist with implementation and optimization projects across the emergency department and inpatient settings
- Collaborate on emerging initiatives including AI-enabled nursing summaries, provider documentation enhancements, MyChart Bedside ED rollout, infusion pump integration, patient messaging, Dragon upgrades, and patient transfer workflows We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.

- 4 years of experience as an analyst
- Familiar with ED workflows or hospital workflows in general
- Knowledge of the majority of the following:
- Narrators
- Navigators
- Flowsheets
- Charges
- Track Board
- In Basket Messaging
- NoteWriter
- Orders and Results
- Patient Instructions and AVS
- Reporting
- Users and Security
- SmartForms
- ED Workflows
- Hospital/Inpatient Workflows
- Additional Epic certifications such as: ○ Epic ClinDoc ○ Epic Orders ○ Epic Ambulatory
- Experience building provider documentation workflows
- Experience supporting Grand Central patient movement workflows
- Experience with workflow optimization and operational redesign initiatives
- Previous experience supporting integrated clinical and operational hospital workflows
