This position ensures accurate and timely data integration and drives the information collection process to support the revenue cycle integration. The specialist acts as a key liaison between the integrating practice and the revenue cycle team, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding process for new practices joining the organization's revenue cycle system. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines for each integration. Coordinate with various departments (credentialing, contracting, IT, etc.) to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience. Collect all necessary documentation for provider credentialing, including licenses, certifications, and insurance information. Ensure all required contracts and fee schedules are obtained and accurately documented. Organize and maintain comprehensive records of all onboarding activities. Assist with the provider credentialing process, ensuring all required documentation is received. Work with the credentialing team to obtain missing documentation. Provide remote support to clinic staff during the transition period. Conduct training sessions on the organization's revenue cycle processes and systems. Act as a liaison between the clinic staff and the revenue cycle department. Identify and recommend improvements to the onboarding process. Document and maintain standard operating procedures for new practice integrations. Participate in regular meetings to review and improve integration workflows. Generate regular reports on the status of new practice integrations. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including integrating practices, internal departments, and management. Maintain accurate and organized records.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience1 in revenue cycle management or healthcare operations. Strong understanding of provider credentialing, contracting, and fee schedule management. Proficiency in using practice management systems and electronic health records. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with revenue cycle integration projects. Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, etc.).
