Job Description

Overview Serves as a technical resource for Lab Outreach clients in marketing, new client implementation, and continuing client support. Develops, monitors, and maintains all Lab Outreach service directories, databases, and interfaces. Maintains appropriate levels of staffing and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Manages and coordinates phlebotomists, couriers, and specimen accessioning assistants for Lab Outreach Services. Manages Lab Outreach billing process. Assesses and responds to client service needs by identifying areas in need of improvement and implementing process change to optimize quality and customer service. Coordinates with laboratory leadership to optimize lab operations and enhance outreach growth and client satisfaction. Develops, measures, and monitors lab outreach patient and client satisfaction.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree with detailed knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance and control; specimen integrity; knowledge of billing, compliance, and budgetary control.
License:
National certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Specialist or Medical Technologist (MT) with the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (HEW). MT preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years' experience in a laboratory setting with management or lab outreach experience preferred.
