Job Description

Overview Are you a skilled engineering professional with expertise in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and laboratory services? We are seeking a CMT Department Manager to provide technical leadership, ensure quality compliance, and oversee field and lab operations. Responsibilities Oversee CMT field and lab testing services, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conduct site visits, audit field reports, and ensure calibration schedules are met. Train, mentor, and evaluate field & lab personnel. Assist with project scope development and proposal preparation. Maintain laboratory accreditations and oversee inspections. Represent the company in technical, marketing, and industry groups.
Qualifications Education:
B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Experience:
5+ years in CMT, lab testing, and special inspections (10 years preferred).
Certifications:
Ability to obtain CTTP and ICC Special Inspector certifications.
Skills:
Strong project management, inspection, communication, and leadership abilities.
Other:
