As Procedure Nurse Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote excellence in patient care. Duties Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff within the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endoscopy units, fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and long-term care standards. Coordinate staffing schedules, manage resource allocation, and facilitate staff training on advanced procedures including catheterization, endoscopy, and related interventions. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner; maintain accurate medical records and procedural documentation. Monitor patient care quality through assessments, vital signs monitoring, physiological evaluations, and post-procedure follow-up to optimize outcomes. Facilitate staff development by providing ongoing education on topics such as

coding, infection control, sterile processing, and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop protocols for complex procedures including cardiac catheterization, airway management, and sedation practices. Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance in accordance with hospital medicine standards. Skills Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; proficiency in medical documentation and coding including

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding. Strong leadership skills with prior supervising or nurse management experience in acute care settings or specialized units like Cardiac Cath Labs or Endoscopy departments. In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular physiology, catheterization techniques, endoscopic procedures, and related diagnostic evaluations. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure; familiarity with ventilator management and airway techniques. Competence in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration including IV infusion/injection techniques, and tube feeding management. Ability to interpret diagnostic imaging results and perform specimen collection/processing accurately. Knowledge of hospital regulations such as HIPAA compliance, long-term care regulations, Medicare DRG systems, and utilization review processes. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively while ensuring nursing policy compliance.
