This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead and develop a laboratory team while overseeing day-to-day testing operations in a regulated clinical laboratory environment to ensure quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is an office-based role with a Monday-Friday schedule and a flexible start time of 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, with corresponding end times of 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM. What you'll do Manage daily activities of assigned laboratory work group(s) through delegation, training, and supervisionPlan, prioritize, and assign workload, tasks, and projects to support effective laboratory operationsCoach, develop, and evaluate laboratory staff while supporting hiring, training, and performance managementProvide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex laboratory challenges, and implement effective resolutionsLead quality, safety, CAPA, and compliance activities to ensure department standards are metMonitor operational metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiencySupport procedure development, regulatory updates, and implementation of new tests, equipment, and processes What you bringBachelor's degree or equivalent experience; alternative combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.5+ years of experience in a regulated environment, including 4+ years in a regulated laboratory and 2+ years in a people management role.
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance/quality control principles.
Proven ability to analyze complex data, make sound operational decisions, and oversee laboratory activities effectively.
Experience leading, coaching, and prioritizing work within a regulated laboratory environment while ensuring high performance and compliance.
Strong understanding of laboratory operations, study setup processes, and cross-functional or system dependencies, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; capable of meeting the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying environmental conditions.
