Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Lab Manager III for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for racking and stacking servers, managing structured cabling, and maintaining organized, inspection-ready lab spaces.
Rate Range:
$50/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Lab Manager III Job Responsibilities include: Rack, stack, and deploy servers, network equipment, PDUs, and test hardware within lab environments. Install, label, troubleshoot, and maintain structured cabling, including copper (Cat6/6A), fiber (LC/MPO), and DAC connections. Perform network patching and ensure accurate cable management to support reliable lab operations. Coordinate equipment staging, relocations, and inventory tracking while maintaining organized and secure lab spaces. Partner with facilities teams and vendors to resolve break/fix issues, support inspections, and oversee equipment deliveries. Prepare and maintain labs for fire, safety, and compliance inspections by ensuring cleanliness, proper documentation, and adherence to restricted-access requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, technical certification, or associate's degree in information technology, Electronics, Networking, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting data center, lab, or infrastructure environments. Strong experience with server/network rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling (Cat6/6A, fiber, and DAC), and network patching. Pay Details:
