We're building a lab culture that pairs craft-quality hashmaking with disciplined, compliant, commercial-scale production. The Role We're looking for an experienced Solventless Extraction Lab Manager / Lead Hashmaker to oversee commercial-scale solventless production at our licensed Colorado facility. This is a hands-on production and leadership role — someone who can make exceptional hash and rosin while also managing production schedules, employees, equipment, inventory, METRC, compliance, and SOPs. What You'll Do Manage commercial ice-water hash and live rosin production from fresh frozen through finished product Operate and troubleshoot Low Temp, Harvest Rite, and Pure Pressure commercial equipment Manage washing, micron separation, freeze-drying, pressing, curing, and finished-product handling Track wash and press parameters by strain and batch Track wash yield, hash yield, press yield, recovery, and production loss Build daily and weekly production schedules Train and manage extraction technicians Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and inspection-ready lab Update, develop, and enforce production, sanitation, safety, and equipment SOPs Manage preventative maintenance and troubleshoot production issues Maintain accurate METRC records and physical inventory Ensure production follows current Colorado MED regulations Continuously improve quality, consistency, yield, and throughput What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional solventless/hash-making experience preferred Commercial-scale live rosin and ice-water extraction experience Strong experience with fresh frozen material Experience with Low Temp commercial washing/extraction systems Experience operating and maintaining Harvest Rite freeze dryers Experience with Pure Pressure and Low Temp commercial rosin presses Strong understanding of micron separation, hash grading, press parameters, and curing Strong METRC experience Working knowledge of current Colorado MED manufacturing and compliance requirements Previous leadership or lab-management experience preferred Strong production planning, organization, and recordkeeping skills Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production problems independently Basic plumbing skills Experience producing full melt, 90u, premium live rosin, full-spectrum rosin, and other micron-specific products is a major plus. Who We're Looking For We want a hashmaker who can also run a lab. You should understand how to take a batch from fresh frozen through finished rosin, identify problems before they become expensive, maintain accurate production data, keep METRC compliant, train a team, and consistently produce high-quality solventless products at commercial scale. Quality comes first — but this is a production environment. The right person understands how to balance quality, yield, consistency, throughput, cleanliness, and compliance.
